Pawpaw Seeds harvested September 2025

These are fresh seeds from wild pawpaw fruit (Asimina triloba) harvested from Maryland and Virginia in September 2025. They have been kept moist and in cold storage since processing. These seeds require a minimum of 90 days of cold stratification in order to break dormancy. Since drying out greatly diminishes germination rates, these seeds are kept and shipped in ziplock bags with wet paper towels to ensure that they arrive moist and viable.
